
INDIANA — Indiana State Police arrested four people on drug-related charges during a focused patrol operation Friday night in Fort Wayne.
Troopers from the Fort Wayne Post conducted the patrol for about four hours, targeting traffic violations and criminal activity in several areas of the city. The operation began near Goshen Road and Coliseum Boulevard before expanding into other neighborhoods.
During the patrol, troopers made 12 traffic-related arrests and four drug-related arrests. Officers also issued dozens of traffic warnings throughout the evening.
Authorities said the patrol was carried out despite challenging weather conditions.
Indiana State Police said the focused enforcement effort was part of ongoing work to identify criminal activity and improve safety on Fort Wayne roads. Officials did not release the names of those arrested.
