TEXAS — Police in Vidor are investigating after a man was found dead in a ditch near Interstate 10 early Monday morning.
Justice of the Peace Rodney Price said authorities received a call around 6:30 a.m. reporting a body along the eastbound I-10 service road near Highway 90 and a nearby church.
Officers located the body of a man lying next to a bicycle in the ditch.
According to Price, there were no visible wounds suggesting the man had been struck by a vehicle, and there was no damage to the bicycle indicating a collision.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
