
OHIO — A juvenile and an adult have been arrested following a shooting Sunday night in Portsmouth, according to police.
Deputy Chief Jason B. Hedrick of the Portsmouth Police Department said officers responded to the area of 1817 Thomas Avenue around 7:25 p.m. after a man was found with a gunshot wound in an alley behind an apartment building.
The victim was taken to a local medical facility before being transferred to a trauma center outside Scioto County. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or condition.
Police said they located and detained two suspects during the investigation and recovered a firearm.
Colten A. Harmon, of West Portsmouth, has been charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault. A juvenile from West Portsmouth was also taken into custody and faces charges including attempted murder, aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and felonious assault.
