OHIO — Authorities are searching for a driver who fled on foot after crashing during a police pursuit early Sunday morning in Clark County.
According to the Clark County Patrol Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the pursuit began around 3:18 a.m. and ended when the vehicle crashed on West Perrin Avenue in Springfield.
After the crash, the driver abandoned the vehicle and ran from the scene on foot, officials said.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.
Authorities have not released additional details about the incident. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to locate the driver.
