SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered in a small ravine Sunday morning in Greenville.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, officials were called to the intersection of Dunbar and Minus streets after a body was found in a ravine estimated to be 15 to 20 feet deep.
The coroner’s office said the body showed signs of visible trauma, and the death is being treated as suspicious.
Officials have not released the identity of the person found, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation.
Authorities say the case is still developing and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
