
GEORGIA — A fatal single vehicle crash Thursday evening prompted a road closure in Grady County, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies announced around 8:45 p.m. on March 5 that Old Thomasville Road had been closed following the crash. The roadway is shut down between Bold Springs Road and Pierce Chapel Road as authorities investigate the incident.
Officials have not released additional details about the crash or the person who was killed.
The Grady County Sheriff’s Office is urging motorists to use alternate routes while the roadway remains closed.
Authorities said an update will be provided once the road has been reopened. The crash is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
