GEORGIA — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning on a busy roadway in South Fulton, according to police.
Officers with the South Fulton Police Department were called to the intersection of Old National Road and West Road at around 5:10 a.m. in response to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.
Authorities said the pedestrian died as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Police have not determined what caused the crash, and officials said no arrests have been made at this time.
The incident remains under investigation as authorities continue to gather information about what led to the fatal collision.
