GEORGIA — Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man injured Thursday in Savannah.
According to the Savannah Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 6:20 a.m. in the area of Damascus Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. Authorities said the victim suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police have not released the identity of the victim, and details about what led up to the shooting have not been provided.
