
OHIO — Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Maple Heights.
According to the Maple Heights Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 17000 block of Broadway Avenue. Investigators said the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a utility pole.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male and a female inside the vehicle. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said they are working to determine the identities of the victims and notify their next of kin.
The Southeast Area Law Enforcement Accident Investigation Unit (SEALE AIU) is investigating the cause of the crash.
