ALABAMA — An Ashford man has been charged with manslaughter after investigators say a woman died from a fentanyl overdose after receiving drugs from him.
According to the Dothan Police Department, Jenne Clifton Adams, 41, is facing one count of manslaughter in connection with the death of 28-year-old Jordan Marie Robinson.
Police said officers responded on November 15, 2025, to a home in the 200 block of South Idlewild Path after receiving a report of a person experiencing a medical emergency. When officers arrived, they found Robinson dead inside the residence.
During the investigation, authorities discovered multiple drugs inside Robinson’s home. Investigators said some of those drugs were linked to Adams.
Police received the results of Robinson’s autopsy on March 3, 2026, which determined she died from a fentanyl overdose.
According to investigators, evidence gathered during the investigation established that Adams supplied the fentanyl to Robinson.
Adams had previously been arrested in November 2025 and charged with drug trafficking, three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second degree, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following the autopsy results, Adams was additionally charged with manslaughter and booked into the Houston County Jail. His bond amount has not been released.
