OHIO — A fatal head-on collision between a semi-truck and a passenger car was reported early Wednesday morning in Cleveland.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. and shut down the southbound lanes of Broadway Avenue over Interstate 77.
Authorities said the crash involved a semi-truck and a Chevrolet Impala. A photo from the scene shows the front end of the Impala lodged beneath the front of the truck following the collision.
Officials have not released details about what caused the crash. It is also unclear whether anyone else was injured.
The southbound lanes of Broadway Avenue remained closed Wednesday morning as authorities responded to the scene and began investigating the crash.
No additional information has been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
