GEORGIA — Authorities in northwest Georgia are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen over the weekend.
According to the Floyd County Police Department, Ateara Faith Garrett was last seen Sunday in the Coosa area. Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Garrett is described as 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She has multicolored hair and brown eyes.
Police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Anyone who has seen Garrett or knows where she may be is asked to contact the Floyd County Police Department at 706-235-7766.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
