
OHIO — More than 1,300 customers are without electricity across Ohio as of Tuesday morning, according to the latest outage data.
A total of 1,359 homes and businesses are currently without power statewide, representing about 0.03% of the 5,361,851 customers tracked.
Ohio ranks sixth in the nation for the total number of outages and ninth for the percentage of customers affected.
Among the state’s 88 counties, Cuyahoga County has the highest number of outages, with 1,083 customers without service. By percentage, Cuyahoga is also the hardest hit, with about 0.2% of customers affected.
Outages have also been reported in Holmes, Portage, Pickaway, Harrison, Columbiana, Ross and Jackson counties, though at significantly lower totals.
Statewide, 32 utilities are being monitored. FirstEnergy reports the largest number of customers without power, with 1,148 outages. Holmes-Wayne Electric has the highest percentage of customers affected, with 0.69% of its customers without service.
