
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and four others were injured in a crash Sunday evening in Greenville County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the collision occurred around 7:23 p.m. on White Horse Road near West Marion Road.
Authorities reported that a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu was attempting to turn left out of a private drive when it was struck on the passenger side by a 2022 Tesla Model 3.
The driver of the Tesla was injured in the crash. In the Chevrolet, the front-seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 47-year-old Angelica Sebastian Pablo.
The driver of the Malibu and two additional passengers were transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The current conditions of those injured have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
