One person arrested in connection to burglary in Virginia

VIRGINIA — A Hanover County man has been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred in Ashland last year.

According to the Ashland Police Department, officers were called on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, to a home in the 400 block of Berkley Woods Drive for a reported burglary. Authorities said more than $2,000 worth of property was stolen from the residence.

After what police described as a lengthy investigation, Jeremiah Wiley, of the Ashland area, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 27, in connection with the incident.

Wiley faces four charges: burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, grand larceny and larceny of property with intent to sell.
