FLORIDA — A 70-year-old man died Monday after falling into the water while fishing from his boat near the Lemon Bluff boat ramp on the St. Johns River, officials said.
Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the scene after a good Samaritan pulled the man from the water.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died, according to FWC.
No additional details have been released.
