NEW JERSEY — Three people were killed in a head-on crash late Sunday night in Ocean County, New Jersey.
The collision occurred around 11:50 p.m. in Plumsted Township. According to investigators, a Ford Bronco traveling northbound on Pinehurst Road crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a Toyota Sienna head-on.
The driver of the Toyota and two passengers inside the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Bronco was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims. The crash remains under investigation.
