
MARYLAND — More than 3,800 homes and businesses across Maryland are without electricity as of Monday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.us.
Statewide, 3,843 customers are currently without power. That represents about 0.15% of the 2,635,461 customers tracked across Maryland. The figures were last updated approximately 10 minutes before publication.
Maryland currently ranks third in the nation for the total number of reported outages and second nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Anne Arundel County is experiencing the most significant impact, with 3,804 customers without power. The county also has the highest percentage of outages in the state, with approximately 1.44% of customers affected.
Among utility providers, Baltimore Gas & Electric Company reports the largest number of outages, with 3,820 customers without service out of more than 1.35 million tracked. That equates to about 0.28% of its customer base.
Delmarva Power reports 14 outages, while Pepco reports nine customers without electricity. Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and Somerset Rural Electric Cooperative are reporting no current outages.
