ALABAMA — One person was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Decatur, according to Decatur Police Department.
Police said the wreck occurred near Alabama Highway 67 and 8th Street SW and involved an SUV and a sedan.
Authorities said a juvenile who was riding inside the sedan died at the scene.
Three other occupants of the sedan were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital with injuries.
The cause of the crash has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
