
PENNSYLVANIA — More than 3,900 homes and businesses across Pennsylvania are without electricity as of Sunday morning, according to the latest outage data.
A total of 3,903 customers are currently without power statewide, representing 0.06% of the 6,708,147 customers tracked. The data was last updated approximately 11 minutes ago.
Pennsylvania ranks second in the nation for the highest number of power outages and fourth nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Out of the state’s 67 counties, Cameron County has been hit the hardest, with 3,268 customers without power. That accounts for 73.39% of customers in the county, making it the highest percentage of outages in the state.
Other counties reporting outages include Monroe, Potter, Elk, Philadelphia, York, Berks and Chester, though at significantly lower levels.
Seventeen utilities are tracked across Pennsylvania. FirstEnergy reports the largest number of affected customers, with 3,735 outages. It also has the highest percentage of customers impacted among utilities at 0.18%.
Utility crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
