TENNESSEE — One person was seriously injured in a knife attack Saturday night in downtown Nashville, according to Metro police.
Officers were called to Korean Veterans Boulevard near Rep. John Lewis Way at approximately 9 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.
Police said two people were involved in an argument when the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face and torso. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Authorities said the suspect was taken into custody at the scene. No additional details about the individuals involved have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing. Officials have not said what led to the argument.
