OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a juvenile Saturday night in Miami Township.
According to a spokesperson, crews were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. to Bear Creek Road near South Union Road on reports of a crash.
Preliminary findings indicate a 2006 Honda Civic, driven by a juvenile, was traveling northeast on Bear Creek Road when it went off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a fence before coming to a stop.
Authorities said the juvenile was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
