$200,000 Powerball ticket winner sold in Indiana

INDIANA — An Indiana Lottery player is celebrating a significant win after purchasing a ticket worth $200,000 in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

The drawing on Saturday, Feb. 28, produced the winning numbers 6, 20, 35, 54, 65, with the Powerball number 10. The Power Play multiplier was 4x. While no one claimed the estimated $237 million jackpot — which had a cash value of $111.5 million — one ticket sold in Indiana matched four of the five white balls, the Powerball and included the Power Play option to win $200,000.

Normally, matching four white balls and the Powerball wins $50,000. However, because the Indiana ticket included the 4x Power Play, the prize was multiplied to $200,000.

Lottery officials have not yet announced where in Indiana the winning ticket was sold or the identity of the winner. Hoosier Lottery winners typically have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

With no jackpot winner, the Powerball jackpot rolls over to the next drawing. Drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
