FLORIDA — A Florida Lottery player is celebrating a major win after matching four white balls and the Powerball in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.
The drawing, held Saturday, Feb. 28, featured the winning numbers 6, 20, 35, 54, 65, with the Powerball number 10. The Power Play multiplier was 4x. While no one claimed the estimated $237 million jackpot — which carried a cash value of $111.5 million — one ticket sold in Florida is worth $50,000.
Lottery officials have not yet released details about where in Florida the winning ticket was sold or the identity of the winner. Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
The $50,000 prize is awarded to tickets that match four of the five white balls plus the Powerball. Because the ticket did not include the Power Play option, the prize remains at $50,000.
The jackpot now rolls over to the next drawing, with the prize expected to grow. Powerball drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
