NORTH CAROLINA — A drug investigation in Davie County resulted in warrants for 10 people and the arrest of seven, according to Sheriff J.D. Hartman.
The Davie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division obtained the warrants on Feb. 26 as part of a sweep targeting drug sales.
The remaining three individuals named in the warrants were already being held in neighboring detention centers and were expected to be served there.
Those arrested face felony charges related to possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver controlled substances, including Schedule I, II, III and V drugs, as well as cocaine-related charges. Bonds for the seven arrested range from $2,000 to $10,000 secured.
All seven were placed in the Davie County Detention Center.
