OHIO — Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Erie County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the area of U.S. Route 6 and Artillery Avenue. Authorities said the accident involved one vehicle, though additional details about how the crash happened have not yet been released.
U.S. Route 6 was closed for several hours while troopers investigated the scene.
Deputies from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, officers with the Vermilion Police Department, along with local firefighters and EMS personnel, assisted at the scene.
Officials have not released the identities of the victims. The crash remains under investigation.
