FLORIDA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a car Wednesday night in Sunrise, according to the Sunrise Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the 2700 block of Pine Island Road.
Authorities said the motorcyclist died at the scene. A passenger in the car was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
Officials have not released the identities of those involved.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
