SOUTH CAROLINA — A 42-year-old woman died Wednesday evening following a head-on collision in Greenwood County, according to officials.
The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office said the crash occurred just before 6:40 p.m. on Old Laurens Road.
According to the coroner’s office, 42-year-old Conyetta Spearm Seymore was traveling southbound on Old Laurens Road when her vehicle collided with another car.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Seymore’s sedan crossed the centerline and struck the other vehicle head-on.
Seymore was transported to Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, where she died shortly after arrival, according to the coroner.
Troopers said the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
