
OHIO — One person was seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 270 in northwest Columbus early Thursday morning.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, an Infiniti G37X was traveling westbound on I-270 just east of Sawmill Road around midnight when the vehicle lost control. Police said the car went off the right side of the roadway and struck a barrier wall.
An adult inside the vehicle sustained serious injuries. Authorities said it was not immediately clear whether the injured person was the driver or a passenger.
The individual was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital and was listed in critical condition.
Police said it is unknown what caused the vehicle to lose control. The crash remains under investigation.
