INDIANA — Several school districts across Indiana are operating on delays or closures Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, due to weather-related concerns.
Jennings County Schools announced it will be closed for the day.
A number of other districts are operating on a two-hour delay. Those include ABC Stewart Montessori; Bartholomew Consolidated Schools; Brown County Schools; Edinburgh Community Schools; Eminence Community Schools; Martinsville Schools; Monroe County Community Schools; Richland-Bean Blossom Schools; Seymour Community Schools; South Ripley Community School Corporation; and Spencer-Owen Community Schools.
In addition, St. Paul Lutheran Preschool in Columbus and St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Columbus are both delayed two hours. The Excel Center in Bartholomew County and White Creek Lutheran School are also operating on a two-hour delay.
School officials encourage families to monitor district communications for any additional updates and to use caution during the morning commute.
