ARIZONA — Buc-ee’s is bringing its signature mega travel center to Arizona, with plans to open a new store in Goodyear in 2026.
A spokesperson for the Texas-based company confirmed that Goodyear will be the site of the chain’s first Arizona location as part of a broader expansion into several new states. The Goodyear store is expected to open in 2026, though an exact opening date has not yet been announced.
Founded in 1982, Buc-ee’s has built a national following for its large-format travel centers that feature dozens of gas pumps, expansive retail space and a wide selection of hot food, snacks and branded merchandise.
The company’s flagship store in Luling, Texas, holds the title of the world’s largest convenience store at more than 75,000 square feet. Buc-ee’s is also known for operating what it calls the world’s longest car wash, stretching 255 feet.
The Arizona expansion is part of a larger growth plan that includes new stores in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin, along with additional locations in Tennessee and Texas.
Company officials have not yet released additional details about the size of the Goodyear location or a projected timeline for construction milestones.
