
ALABAMA — Four people are facing burglary charges following an incident at a Huntsville apartment complex Tuesday night.
According to the Huntsville Police Department, officers responded to a reported burglary in progress around 9 p.m. at an apartment complex on Henderson Road. Police said the caller told dispatchers that multiple individuals were inside the apartment without permission.
Officers established a perimeter around the complex. During the response, one suspect reportedly jumped from a window and fled the scene. Police said officers, along with a K-9 unit, attempted to track the individual, but he has not yet been located.
Four other individuals were taken into custody inside the apartment. Police identified them as:
- Elton D. Todd, 26, of Huntsville
- Caleb Z. Qahhaar-Mayes, 25, of Madison
- Laron M. Turner, 35, of Huntsville
- Justyn D. Wilson, 23, of Huntsville
All four were booked into the Madison County Jail on charges of third-degree burglary.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional suspects are being sought.
