One person arrested following drug bust in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A 41-year-old Tyner woman was arrested Monday following a narcotics investigation in Jackson County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers executed a search warrant at a property on Jackson Drive in the Tyner community as part of an investigation into illegal narcotics activity. During the search, authorities said they located fentanyl along with other unspecified drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Felicia Potter was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (unspecified drug); third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (unspecified drug); and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Potter was lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
