INDIANA — Police are investigating a death Wednesday morning at a mobile home community on the city’s southwest side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called around 8:30 a.m. to the 2800 block of Landola Lane for a death investigation. The address is located in the Lantern Estates mobile home park near Lynhurst Drive and Troy Avenue.
Minutes before that call, dispatchers received a report of a trailer mobile home fire with possible entrapment at the same location. Authorities have not confirmed whether the fire and the death investigation are connected.
It remains unclear how much damage the fire caused or whether anyone else was injured.
Police have not released additional details. The case remains under investigation.
