TENNESSEE — Two Northeast Tennessee school systems have announced schedule changes for tomorrow due to anticipated weather conditions.
Mountain City Schools will be closed tomorrow. School officials have not indicated any alternative instruction plans at this time. Students and staff are advised to stay home and monitor official district communication channels for any additional updates.
Meanwhile, Erwin City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Buses will run approximately two hours later than their normal pickup times, and classes will begin two hours later than usual.
The delay is intended to allow extra time to assess road conditions and improve travel safety for students and employees.
Parents are encouraged to stay alert for further announcements in the event weather conditions change overnight.
