KENTUCKY — Students in one Eastern Kentucky school district will see a slight schedule change Wednesday due to weather concerns.
Letcher County Public Schools announced it will operate on a one-hour delay on Wednesday.
The later start will provide additional time to evaluate road conditions and ensure safe travel for students, bus drivers and staff.
Under the adjusted schedule, buses will run approximately one hour later than their normal pickup times, and school buildings will begin classes one hour later than usual. Parents and guardians are encouraged to plan accordingly and watch for any further updates from the district in case additional changes become necessary.
No other schedule adjustments have been announced at this time.
