FLORIDA — Police are investigating the deaths of two people at the Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island condominium complex.
The Fort Pierce Police Department responded Tuesday to the gated community on the east side of Hutchinson Island after receiving reports that prompted officers to secure the area and begin an active investigation.
Authorities confirmed that two individuals were found dead at the complex. However, investigators have not released the identities of the deceased, the cause of death, or whether foul play is suspected. Officials said the circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under active review.
A designated media staging area was established at 805 Harbour Isle Drive East while detectives and crime scene technicians processed evidence. Portions of the condominium complex were temporarily restricted as officers remained on scene.
Police have not provided a timeline for when additional information will be released but said updates will be shared as they become available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
