OHIO — Police in Newark are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen over the weekend.
Cherish Shirley Walker was reported missing after she was last seen on February 22, 2026, in Newark. She was 17 years old at the time of her disappearance and remains 17.
Walker is described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 299 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
According to authorities, she was last seen wearing a black shirt with the words “My Queen” printed in silver letters, black distressed jeans, and red and black Puma shoes.
The Newark Police Department is actively investigating the case. Officials are urging anyone who may have seen Walker or who has information about her whereabouts to come forward.
