LOUISIANA — A Louisiana lottery player is $50,000 richer following Monday night’s Powerball drawing on February 23, 2026.
The winning numbers were 5, 11, 23, 29, 47, with the Powerball number 6. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $203 million, with a cash value of $94.4 million.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot, one ticket sold in Louisiana matched four white balls plus the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize.
Lottery officials have not yet released where in Louisiana the winning ticket was purchased.
The Powerball jackpot will now roll over for the next drawing as players across the country continue to compete for the growing multimillion-dollar prize.
