
FLORIDA — A man has died after his vehicle crashed into the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach early Monday morning, according to police.
The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Flagler Drive, close to Good Samaritan Hospital. West Palm Beach police said the vehicle struck a seawall before entering the water.
West Palm Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene, and divers removed the driver from the submerged vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
