FLORIDA — Three people were hospitalized Saturday evening following a crash at a busy Clearwater intersection, according to police.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at approximately 5:18 p.m. at the intersection of Court Street and Missouri Avenue.
Authorities said two of the injured individuals were transported to Morton Plant Hospital. One of them suffered life-threatening injuries. A third person was taken to Largo Medical Center, though the extent of that person’s injuries has not been released.
As of 7:27 p.m., drivers were advised to avoid the area while officers continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
No additional details about the circumstances leading up to the collision have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
