ALABAMA — Huntsville police are investigating after a body was found in a pond near Topgolf on Saturday afternoon.
According to authorities, officers were called to the area just after 3:30 p.m. when witnesses reported seeing something floating in the water.
Huntsville Fire & Rescue crews responded to the scene and initially spotted a backpack in the pond. While attempting to retrieve it, crews discovered a body in the water.
Police said there are no current signs of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing.
