OKLAHOMA — Two people were arrested Thursday as part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation in Skiatook, according to the Skiatook Police Department.
Police said Leonardo Villagrana was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Josie Grant faces multiple charges, including trafficking a controlled dangerous substance, distributing drugs within 2,000 feet of a school, child neglect and violations of Oklahoma law.
Officers executed a court-approved search warrant during the investigation and seized illegal narcotics and other evidence, authorities said.
Police emphasized that drug activity near schools or involving children poses a serious threat to the community. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible.
Both suspects were booked into jail pending further court proceedings.
