SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Savannah are searching for two missing teenagers who were last seen in the Cottonvale Road area, according to the Chatham County Police Department.
Police identified the missing juveniles as 15-year-old Adriyona Echols and 14-year-old Janiya Spann. Officials said both girls were reported missing Friday and are believed to have left the area together.
Investigators say Spann may be driving her mother’s vehicle, described as a Nissan Altima with a temporary Georgia tag P7557779. Police noted the teens could have traveled to the Hilton Head area or possibly beyond.
The case has been classified as a runaway investigation, and officers are actively working to locate the girls and confirm their whereabouts.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the teens’ location to contact 911 immediately. Police added that the situation remains a developing investigation and updates will be released as more information becomes available.
