PENNSYLVANIA — One person was injured and another is in custody following a stabbing Wednesday afternoon in Carlisle.
According to the Carlisle Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Lincoln Street just before 3 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Police said Shannon Kerns, 37, allegedly stabbed a man in the head. The victim suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and was treated at the scene by EMS.
Kerns was taken into custody and is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and possessing instruments of crime.
The scene has since cleared. Authorities have not released additional details. The investigation is ongoing.
