
ALABAMA — Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama is asking for the public’s help in locating a Jefferson County man wanted on a felony warrant.
According to Crime Stoppers, Daminyae Montreze Harris is wanted in Jefferson County on a charge of discharging a firearm into an occupied building or vehicle. The warrant was issued, and he has been wanted since Feb. 11, 2026.
Harris, 28, is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 260 pounds. He has full black hair and brown eyes. His date of birth is listed as May 18, 1997.
Authorities say his last known address was in the 1500 block of 16th Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama, 35205.
The warrant was issued by the Birmingham Court Division, and the case is being handled in coordination with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with information on Harris’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama or local law enforcement. Officials remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
