
KENTUCKY — Two people are facing drug charges after Scottsville police responded to a report of a man attempting to put a woman into the trunk of a car.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers were called to Casey’s gas station on New Gallatin Road on Feb. 10 after receiving reports of suspicious activity.
Police say the male suspect was identified as 47-year-old Michael P. Lyon of Illinois. During the investigation, officers reportedly discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Lyon was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
A co-defendant, 44-year-old Brandy L. Ozuna of Wisconsin, was also arrested. She is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – second offense (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were lodged in the Allen County Jail.
