VIRGINIA — A person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash on an exit ramp connecting Chippenham Parkway and Interstate 95 in Chesterfield County.
Virginia State Police said troopers responded around 4:09 p.m. to a crash involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on I-95 South at Exit 67, which leads to Chippenham Parkway.
According to authorities, one person was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. No additional details about the victim have been released.
The Virginia Department of Transportation assisted at the scene and helped direct traffic through a detour while crews worked to clear the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
