
OHIO — A child was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a shooting along Interstate 75, according to Cincinnati police.
Officers responded around 1:10 p.m. to southbound I-75 near the Harrison Avenue exit for reports of a shooting involving a juvenile victim.
Police said the child’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. The child was taken to the hospital for treatment.
An officer reported finding a vehicle outside Mercy Queen City emergency room with a bullet hole. Police have not confirmed whether that vehicle is connected to the shooting.
Authorities have not released a suspect description, and no arrests have been announced.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not said whether the shooting was random or targeted.
