OHIO — Three people were arrested early Sunday after Licking County deputies used drone technology to track down suspects accused of attempting to break into vehicles in a Pataskala neighborhood.
According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of suspicious activity involving several individuals trying to enter parked cars on Wyckshire Drive.
Authorities deployed a drone equipped with thermal imaging to search the area. The technology allowed deputies to locate three individuals who matched the suspects’ descriptions as they ran through nearby backyards.
All three were taken into custody without incident. Their names have not yet been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
